“Pivoting” is a familiar word in the startup ecosystem. The simple definition is when your business model doesn’t work, you switch to another one which is compatible with your company nature and promises to create more growth. We can also call it Plan B if you like☺
Pivoting might oblige us to change the architecture, user experience or the design of products, which means you might have to spend more than expected. As a result, we suggest founders to think in advance about different possible scenarios/costs, and build their products as flexible as possible for less costly pivoting.
